Canada's Premier Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined Ski Club! Just like the Olympic Motto 'Citius, Altius, Fortius', the Altius Nordic Ski Club strives for its athletes to be 'Faster, Higher, Stronger'.

Foothills Nordic Ski Club (FNSC) is a not for profit, full service ski club based in Calgary, Alberta. Incorporated in 1964, FNSC has a long history of organizing and delivering programs geared towards cross-country skiers and biathletes of all ages and performance levels. The Club has over 900 members, ranging from Jackrabbits and Biathlon Bears to High Performance athletes and Masters level recreational skiers. We are Calgary's oldest recreational sports club, established in 1920 and incorporated as a Society in 1935.  We offer a broad range of outdoor recreational activities for active adults and families. While our primary sports are downhill and cross coutnry skiing, we offer snowshoing, hiking, biking along wiht some kayaking, golf and other sports in the off season. Every fall, we cohost the Calgary New & Used Ski Sale, the largest in Canada. The dollars we raise are invested back into the local sports community in covering off registration fees for qualified kids. Thousands of qualified local kids are supported with financial assistance so they are able to participate in our minor sports community on an annual basis.
