Alberta Bobsleigh is a not for profit provincial sport association. We provide opportunities for all Albertans to experience the sport of bobsleigh from officials to competing at the highest level of the sport. We have Ice House training in Calgary and on ice trips to Whistler for beginning athletes as well as bobsleigh driving schools. In our diverse membership we have athletes as young as 16 and some of our officials are in their 80's. Our association was started in 1983 to develop athletes for the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympic Games.

CADS Calgary is a volunteer based non-profit that provides opportunities for people with disabilities to experience the joy of learning, participating and competing in alpine Snowsports. Registration for our 8-week lesson program is open during the month of November. Registration links can be found on our website. We are Calgary's oldest recreational sports club, established in 1920 and incorporated as a Society in 1935.  We offer a broad range of outdoor recreational activities for active adults and families. While our primary sports are downhill and cross coutnry skiing, we offer snowshoing, hiking, biking along wiht some kayaking, golf and other sports in the off season. Every fall, we cohost the Calgary New & Used Ski Sale, the largest in Canada. We are also well known for running the Lake Louise Loppet, which celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2022.

The dollars we raise are invested back into the local sports community in covering off registration fees for qualified kids.
